Fancom shows innovative character at annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholders’ meeting
On Saturday, April 30, Fancom attended the annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholders’ meeting in the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Fancom is a subsidiary of CTB, Inc., which in turn is a part of the Berkshire Hathaway company headed by Warren E. Buffett.
During the meeting, all subsidiaries of Berkshire Hathaway had the opportunity to present themselves in the shareholders’ exhibition. As part of CTB Inc., Fancom presented eYeScan, the growth monitor for fatteners. This camera system is a good example of a biometric system for observation of animal behavior and the production process in the house. With the development of such systems, we take an important step in the execution of Fancom's strategy of improving the processes in the house innovatively and making these processes better to manage. Moreover, we emphasize the innovative role of Fancom in the CTB group.
