Fancom distributor Janker Agrartechnik opens new office
On Friday 6 May, Fancom was attending the official opening of AAG Holding's new office in Kilb, Austria. AAG Holding consists of Janker Agrartechnik, Janker Eierhandel, Schelle Eierverpackungen, EcoWind Windenergie and Naturrein Biogarten. The company employs ± 35 people in total.
In the past years they have strongly invested in the building of new storehouses, a packing station and finally an impressive office. On top of that, the company has clearly taken the ecological road, emphasizing sustainability and corporate social responsibility. This shows among others from the fact that they mainly do business with local companies and that they are using a wind turbine and solar cells for their own energy provision. They also use a biomass installation to convert the elephant grass which they grow themselves on 14 hectare of private ground into warmth for the entire company and their own residences.
In this strategy of sustainable entrepreneurship Fancom can mean a lot as business partner who offers intelligent solutions for energy consumption and integrated management systems.
Apart from the local suppliers also suppliers from 10 other European countries were present at the opening. To emphasize the partnership we all placed a 21 meter high maypole, using hand power. A special team effort, which we celebrated with drinking local schnapps.
The team spirit and the local interest were furthermore emphasized by the entire staff appearing in traditional Austrian costume and performing an AAG yodel song. An exceptional team effort showing a lot of fun and pleasure. The hospitality, team building but most of all the enthusiasm will be long remembered by us and we hope to further build on the partnership with Janker Agrartechnik in the years to come.
