Kempfarm - aviary system, Martien van Kempen
This recently completed 2- tier house is used for free range egg production. The unique feature of the house is the concrete floor between the storeys. Energy efficient and sustainable material has been used throughout the project. The house is equipped with 2 x 4 rows of aviary systems (Bolleg Terrace).

Completely computerised
All operational processes in the house are completely computerised. 2 F38s control the climate. The feeding process in both sections is regulated using an F42.2, while egg counting and control are run by the 746. An F47 is used to check bird weights on the upper and lower tier separately.
