Timo Keitaanranta has new sow barn with 220 sows. The construction work started in spring 2011 and Timo’s barn was finished in April 2012 . Fancom distributor Farmi Tilatech Oy installed a SmartFix liquid feeding system and F21 climate control to manage the growth process. To control feed costs and to ensure a continuous supply of fresh food, Timo has a home mixing installation to prepare the food for his animals. The feeding process is controlled by a Fancom F78 liquid feed computer and a Buschhoff milling and mixing system.

Weaners department
There are four similar weaner pig departments. For a good control of the incoming fresh air, ceiling inlets model 220-P are installed above the corridor. In this way he can control the incoming air exactly according to the needs of the growing animals.
