Black is the new Fancom green

One of Fancom's most important ambitions is to contribute to a more sustainable world. We firmly believe this is feasible without compromising on the high quality standards of our products and services. The concept of sustainability is usually associated with green, but for us black is the new green. So from now on, the Fantura air inlet systems and our chimney systems will be manufactured in stylish black, while retaining the recognisable green contrast edging.

Fewer chemicals

Producing in black has the following advantages: 

  1. Producing black plastic uses significantly fewer chemicals than producing grey or white plastic. This considerably reduces the ecological footprint of our products. 
  2. Our black products stay black, even in the worst weather conditions. No more fading or discoloration ensures a durable and well-maintained look. Differences in colour can never be a motivation to replace a product. 
  3. Black has a long lasting aesthetical appeal! 

Innov’Space Award

From now on the complete Fantura product line will be produced in black. The first shipments of the new colour have now arrived at our customers and the reactions were very positive. And it’s not just our customers who are enthusiastic! At SPACE Rennes, our new Fantura Tunnel inlets were awarded the Innov'Space prize by a jury of independent experts who valued the innovation.

The new black Fantura inlet systems will also be on display at our stand at Eurotier in November. Visit us in Hall 17, stand D28.
