Fantura tunnel inlet in action at JF McKenna Ltd project

Our distributor JF McKenna Ltd recently shared a great video from one of their projects, highlighting the unique opening principle of the Fantura tunnel inlet.

The panels move smoothly from top to bottom, creating a gradual increase in ventilation flow inside the house. This controlled opening, combined with the distinctive shape of the inlet, also makes it highly suitable for minimum ventilation. In the minimum position, a powerful jet stream bundles the incoming air and directs it straight towards the ridge of the building. This targeted air throw improves air distribution and eliminates the need for additional inlets above the tunnel inlet, helping to reduce installation costs.

These inlets are applied in tunnel ventilated houses, where air is drawn at high speed from one end of the building to the other. Installed at one end wall, tunnel ventilation inlets allow maximum airflow and ensure efficient cooling during warm weather conditions.

The Fantura tunnel inlet is part of the Fantura air inlet system. Its specially designed shape guarantees a constant and uniform supply of fresh air under all conditions. Cold air no longer drops directly onto the animals, supporting their health, growth, and uniformity through stable climate conditions.
