Farotek Plus makes every feed portion more attractive for farrowing sows

The Farotek system allows sows to request small portions of feed throughout the day by touching the sensor ball in the feed trough. With Farotek Plus, every portion is automatically mixed with a precisely controlled amount of water. Farmers can set the water dosage for each feed portion in milliseconds, allowing accurate adjustment to the needs of the animals. This makes the feed more attractive and encourages the sows to eat more during the demanding lactation period. The Farotek Plus system includes a specially developed automatic water valve that is designed for frequent switching and reliable performance in the challenging conditions of modern pig farms.

By combining the right feeding curve with individual sow settings and water dosage, each sow receives exactly the amount of feed she needs. This encourages higher feed intake during lactation and helps sows maintain better body condition. As a result, they produce more milk and raise stronger, more uniform piglets. Because sows lose less condition, they need less feed to recover before the next farrowing cycle. This can save up to 500 kg of feed per farrowing place per year, reducing feed costs while improving production results.
