Fancom has introduced a new feature in the eYeGrow weighing system that allows farmers to enter manually measured pig weights directly into the application.

Even more reliable weight tracking and growth predictions

By comparing the entered weight with the weight calculated by eYeGrow, the system automatically determines and applies a correction offset. This ensures that growth calculations remain aligned with actual on farm measurements, resulting in even more reliable weight tracking and growth predictions.

The new functionality combines the convenience of automated weighing with the confidence of manual verification. Farmers can quickly validate performance and fine tune system accuracy whenever needed, without disrupting daily operations. To make the process even easier, calculated corrections are remembered and can be reused in future production rounds. This helps maintain consistent weighing accuracy over time while reducing the need for repeated adjustments.

eYeGrow is Fancom’s automated weighing system for finishing pigs. Using cameras and advanced image analysis, the system continuously monitors animal growth without handling or disturbing the pigs.
