Fancom’s combi-ventilation system is ideal for moderate climate zones. This system is a smart combination of controlled fans and on/off fans. Users can benefit from the advantages of perfectly controllable minimum ventilation and a ventilation level that gradually adapts to the needs of the flock. This results in optimal conditions for all the animals in the house throughout the entire production cycle.

Accurate minimum ventilation for optimal animal performance

Fresh air enters the house via the Fantura air inlet system at the side of the building. Perfectly controllable minimum ventilation ensures the air is perfectly distributed throughout the house, even at low air speeds. Accurate minimum ventilation is a crucial condition to achieve top performances from your animals! The air inlet directs the fresh air towards the ridge where the air is mixed with the warmer air already in the house. This prevents a sudden drop of cold air on the birds or draughts This is a significant advantage of combi-ventilation. Configuring the system with air inlet valves via the ceiling is also an option. This set-up is used in regions with high winds as a way of reducing wind influences or in extremely cold conditions to preheat the outside air via the ceiling before it enters the house.

The security of healthy air

As the ventilation demand increases, the ventilation level is adapted to suit the animals' needs by gradually activating the fans in the gable. You can rely on the system to ensure there is a continuous, uniform movement of air in the house. The operational reliability of this combi-ventilation system is safeguarded by double ventilation control in the ridge and in the gable.

Ingenious balance of energy savings and investment costs

Combi-ventilation is the ideal system for the application of extra energy efficient I-Fan fans and controllable fans. As low ventilation speeds account for the majority of the operating hours, the energy-efficient fans are used for these lower ventilation capacities. Allowing users to benefit from extra cost savings thanks to low energy consumption. This application responds to the fact that a maximum of one-third of the ventilation capacity is used in poultry house during most of the year. The fans only all run at full speed on the few days a year in summer when the house is fully occupied with adult animals, when the on/off fans are activated to achieve maximum ventilation levels. Creating a clever balance between energy savings and investments in fans.

Forward thinkers

Forward Thinkers have one foot in the present and one foot in the future. What they do, they do well. And to keep it that way, they look ahead. Can it be done differently, can it be done better than we are doing now?
